Important – Refresher Course Only

This program is strictly for workers who have previously completed the full Work Safely at Heights unit and are currently performing work at heights in industry.

This course is not suitable for first-time participants. Workers unable to demonstrate prior competency will be required to complete the full face-to-face course including practical assessment.

Participants complete online knowledge assessments and a formal competency declaration confirming ongoing practical use of working at heights skills.

Pre-requisite

To enrol in this refresher course, participants must meet all of the following requirements:

Previous Completion (One Required):
  • Statement of Attainment for RIIWHS204E – Work Safely at Heights (or equivalent/superseded unit) issued within the past 8 years; OR
  • USI VET Transcript (PDF with QR code) showing successful completion of RIIWHS204E (from 2015 onwards).
Additional Requirements:
  • Valid USI (Unique Student Identifier).
  • Clear colour photo ID (Driver Licence – front and back, Proof of Age Card, or Passport).
  • Declaration of maintained competency and practical height work experience within the past 5 years.
  • Sufficient LLN skills to complete the online assessment.
  • Minimum age: 16 years.

Training requirements

To successfully undertake this online refresher course, participants must:

  • Have access to a computer, tablet or mobile device with reliable internet access.
  • Be able to upload required documentation during enrolment (Statement of Attainment or USI Transcript and photo identification).
  • Complete all assessment components independently without assistance.
  • Complete the course within 30 days of enrolment.

Course outcomes

Assessment Requirements

Assessment for this course consists of a theory-based online assessment, including knowledge and scenario-based questions aligned to the unit requirements.

All assessment submissions are reviewed by a qualified assessor. A Statement of Attainment will only be issued where the participant has been assessed as meeting all requirements of the unit.

Momentum High Risk Training reserves the right to:

  • Request clarification or additional supporting information; and/or
  • Require further assessment where competency cannot be confirmed based on submitted evidence.

Participants assessed as competent will be issued a Statement of Attainment for RIIWHS204E – Work Safely at Heights by Momentum High Risk Training Pty Ltd (RTO 46410), in accordance with the Standards for RTOs.
