About this course

This course will equip you with the knowledge and skills to safely perform Intermediate Rigging for use within the mining, civil and construction industries.

This unit specifies the outcomes required to perform Intermediate rigging work associated with:

  • Cranes
  • Conveyors
  • Dredges and excavators
  • Plant and dual lifts
  • Tilt slabs
  • Demolition of structures
  • Erection of jib hoists and self-climbing hoists

If you are required to perform Intermediate Rigging work, you will need to hold a current High Risk Work Licence – RI.

The following are required to commence enrolment in this Intermediate Rigging Course:

The following are required on the day of training and assessment:

Momentum High Risk Training will provide all training materials and stationery.

– Fridges and crib rooms are available for use at MHRT training facility
– Various lunch options are available close by at the Mackay Harbour

Course outcomes

You will receive a Statement of Attainment in CPCCLRG3002 Licence to perform rigging intermediate level issued by Halo Nation Training (RTO No. 32485) and an Candidate Assessment Summary will be emailed once you have been deemed competent.

To apply for your High Risk Work Licence (HRWL), please contact Work Safe QLD online within 60 days of your completed assessment.  Please retain your Candidate Assessment Summary (CAS) as proof of evidence until your HRWL arrives by mail.
