About this course

IMPORTANT
This course is NOT a High Risk Work Licence (HRWL) renewal.
 HRWL renewals are completed separately through your State/Territory Work Health and Safety Regulator. WHSQ CLICK TO RENEW YOUR HRWL.

This training is a Code of Practice refresher for existing HRWL holders in accordance with the Mobile Cranes Code of Practice 2024.

This course offers refresher training for all relevant HRWL, providing the lasted required information and updating you with any changes in Australian Standards, Codes of Practice and industry Standards.  This is a requirement for all persons holding a HRWL in either DG, RB, RI RA, CV, CN, C2, C6, C1, CO to be completed at least every 3 years or completing a new HRW licence class of any of the above.

“The interval between refresher training courses should not exceed three years. Crane operators, doggers and riggers must undergo refresher training between two and a half and three years after either being issued with their initial licence for a class of high risk work, or since attending their most recent refresher training, whichever is the shorter time frame”.

This course certificate is accepted by Billiton Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA), Hay Point Coal Terminal, Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal (DBCT) and all sugar mills in QLD.

This course is now available to be completed online. This course is specific to your HRWL classes.
The HRWL Online Refresher course offers a comprehensive refresher of each licence class as well as cover any updates in the Mobile Cranes Code of Practice 2024 and any new Standards. The HRWL Online Refresher course has clear guidance, built in referencing materials and incorporates assessment all the way through.

Course outcomes

Upon completion, you will receive a Statement of Completion awarded from Momentum High Risk Training (RTO No: 46410).
This certificate is accepted at DBCT, Hay Point BMA, sugar mills and various other sites.
